The information on this website is primarily intended for use by immunisation providers and academics in the field of vaccine preventable diseases and immunisation. It may also be of interest to other members of the community seeking information in this area.
NCIRS is the coordinating centre for AusVaxSafety. The AusVaxSafety website is part of the World Health Organization's (WHO) Vaccine Safety Net. Vaccine Safety Net member websites have been evaluated by WHO and adhere to WHO criteria for content, credibility and good information practices.
Information on the AusVaxSafety website is independently developed, published, managed and updated on a regular basis by staff from the relevant research divisions of NCIRS. Content is reviewed and approved by senior staff members.
Core funders have the right of review of AusVaxSafety publications, when applicable; however, NCIRS maintains editorial control over all web content, publications and print materials.
